Troubleshooting common issues

Slow performance:

• Reduce the number of URLs checked at once
• Some websites may have anti-scraping measures that slow checks

Authentication required:

• Sites with Cloudflare or similar protection need manual verification
• Consider checking these URLs manually

Rate limiting:

• The tool includes built-in delays to prevent rate limiting
• For very large batches, split into smaller groups

Results not appearing:

• Verify your column settings are correct
• Check if the output column has enough space

Add-on appears completely blank:

• In rare cases, the add-on might load with a completely blank interface
• Solution: Simply relaunch the add-on

Limitations

• HTTPS-only websites
• Cannot check password-protected pages
• Some sites with complex JavaScript may need manual verification
• Daily quotas apply to scheduled checks

Error messages

HTTP status errors:

• 401/403: “Authentication required – manual verification needed”
• 404: “Page not found – the requested URL doesn’t exist”
• 429: “Rate limit exceeded – try again later”
• 5xx: “Server error – try again later”
